Dricon Treatment

DRICON is unique: it is the only BBA certified fire impregnation treatment available in the UK for internal timber and plywood.

A commercially proven global brand, DRICON is backed by extensive independent fire certification including 25 years of BBA accreditation and more than 30 years of fire performance experience.

The ingredients in DRICON fire retardant treated timber and panel products dramatically reduce the rate of fire growth and heat and smoke release during a fire, allowing the time needed to safely evacuate a burning building.

DRICON is a humidity resistant fire treatment that remains very stable in the treated timber even in high humidity environments. When used internally DRICON requires no maintenance throughout the life of the build.

A wide range of timber and plywood species can be treated to either Euroclass B or C as defined within EN 13501-1 to provide Building Regulation compliance to meet project requirements.

We offer a RIBA accredited fire retardant CPD which provides guidances regarding selection and fire retardant treatment specification in line with current EU legislation. Visit our Specification Zone for more information.
